Beetle Creative is a hand printing textile studio run by artist Mary Timms. I studied fine art at university and then became an environmental scientist. Beetle Creative is a mix of both art and environmental awareness. 
I design and print textiles using environmentally friendly inks. My designs are inspired by my biology research drawings. I create unique handmade items including; baby tees, singlets, aprons, tea towels and pillows. My designs are playful with bold colours. I print my designs onto everyday items so that my work is accessible. I often hand embroider my printed fabric so each is piece is unique. I believe the beauty of hand printed fabric is it's simplicity.
